Bachelor of Science in Molecular Life Sciences

About

Contemporary research in the life sciences embraces multidisciplinary approaches across such diverse fields as biology, chemistry, and medicine. The Molecular Life Sciences (MLS) degree program is grounded in these classic science disciplines while developing a mechanistic and molecular understanding of living systems. Students who graduate with a B.S. degree in MLS will be prepared to enter virtually any field grounded in the principles of life sciences. They may pursue post-graduate training in medical or dental school, in specialized degree programs such as pharmacy or pharmacology, or graduate school in fields across a spectrum of fields related to Biology and Biochemistry. Graduates may also choose to directly enter industrial settings such as in the pharmaceutical industry, or they may pursue diverse roles in companies dependent upon the life sciences.
