Hundred Alum, David Neville wins GOLD and BRONZE at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games

We salute Marching Hundred alum David Neville on his success in the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. David, a 2-year Hundred member on snare drum, won the Bronze medal in the 400m on Thursday night, August 21, 2008. David was part of a USA sweep in medals for the 400.

On Saturday, August 23, David ran the 3rd leg of the 4×400 meter relay and ended up with not only a Gold medal, but an Olympic record at the same time! Although we can’t confirm it, we assume David can now be called “The Fastest Snare Drummer in the World.” He’s so fast, he could have finished both races with a snare drum on…

We congratulate David on his accomplishments and wish him the best as he continues his training!
