Welcome to the PRAGMA Workshop on International Clouds for Data Science (PRAGMA-ICDS 2015). PRAGMA-ICDS’15 is a new workshop for presenting the latest research on the design, implementation, evaluation, and the use of cloud technology, networking, and data management that enable new forms of research able to span international boundaries.

PRAGMA-ICDS’15 will take place in Depok, Indonesia hosted by the Universitas Indonesia Faculty of Computer Science. The workshop is a 1-day event held October 7, 2015. The workshop is co-located with the 29th Pacific Rim Applications and Grid Computing (PRAGMA) workshop (October 8-9 2015) and precedes the 7th Int’l Conference on Advanced Computer Science and Information Systems (ICACSIS 2015) which will be held in Jakarta, Indonesia immediately following PRAGMA 29, on October 10 and 11, 2015.

Call for Papers

The PRAGMA Workshop on International Clouds for Data Science (PRAGMA-ICDS’15) is a new workshop for presenting the latest research on the design, implementation, evaluation, and the use of cloud technology, networking, and data management that enable new forms of research able to span international boundaries.

PRAGMA-ICDS’15 welcomes submissions of long and short papers.

Major topics in PRAGMA-ICDS’15 include, but are not limited to:

  • Cloud deployment
  • Network testbeds
  • Software defined networking at global scale
  • Data analysis and sharing across national borders
  • Data analysis in distributed clouds
  • Cloud controllers
  • Virtualization, software defined environments
  • Application areas (include but not limited to):

Visa

All travelers to Indonesia must be in possession of a passport that is valid for at least six months from the date of arrival, and have proof (tickets) of onward or return passage.

Citizen from 63 countries including China, India, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and United States are eligible for obtaining Visa on Arrival (VOA) at designated entry airports and sea ports. Visa-on-Arrival are valid for 30 days and are extendable with another 30 days to be applied at Immigration offices in Indonesia.
