WAIT LIST: César Chávez Day of Service

WAIT LIST: César Chávez Day of Service

Thank you for your interest in serving with us for the César Chávez Day of Service! Due to the limited number of volunteer opportunities available, the registration is closed. Being on the waitlist does not guarantee a volunteer spot. We will maintain a wait list due to the popularity of the Day of Service. Current registrants will have the opportunity to “unregister”; should a sizable number unregister, we will begin to contact those on the wait list. Confirmations will be emailed as soon as others unregister.

César Chávez is a hero for farm laborers and one of the greatest American civil rights leaders. To honor César Chávez’s life and work, the Community Service Scholars of the Sam H. Jones Community Service Scholarship Program in partnership with the Latino Student Association organize the annual César Chávez Day of Service. Participants will meet at the IUPUI Campus Center to enjoy breakfast and learn more about César Chávez and his legacy. Participants will then serve at various sites throughout Indianapolis.
