This tutorial is designed as a general overview of the IUIE. Individual departments will provide specific data extract information to their users. A more detailed discussion of the IUIE can be downloaded by clicking the IUIE Training Manual link.

The tutorial is divided into three general sections:

  • The IUIE: This section describes what the IUIE is, how to register for an IUIE account, and how to login to the IUIE. This section also explains data access, preference settings and how to find answers to questions about using the IUIE.
  • Reporting: This section describes report objects in the Master Catalog and talks about the difference between report object types. Search capabilities and basic report functionality is described.
  • My Catalog: The default folders, their function within My Catalog, and management capabilities are explained.
