What is the Proposal Hierarchy?

Proposal Hierarchy allows a user to combine multiple KC Proposal Development documents into a single master proposal, which can then be routed and submitted to the Sponsor.

There are two tiers for each Proposal Hierarchy: The Parent proposal and Child proposal(s).  The Parent Proposal Development document is the document that will route for approval.  This document will display the data from all linked and synced Child proposal(s) in the hierarchy.

Examples for when a proposal hierarchy might be used include:

* Task-based projects

* NIH Program Project proposals

* Proposals involving multiple IU campuses or units

* Budgets that includes On and Off campus rates
