Will investigators still need to use the track changes function in Microsoft Word when making revisions to study documents?

The track changes function will continue to be used through Summer 2014. At that time, when all IRB forms are integrated into the KC IRB questionnaire, there will no longer be a need for track changes when making revisions to forms such as the Summary Safeguard Statement, HIPAA & Recruitment Checklist, and request forms for vulnerable populations, because the content of those forms will be integrated directly into KC IRB. Track changes should continue to be used when making revisions to supporting documents, such as the Informed Consent Statement and advertisements/flyers.
