Several resistors are connected in a \"T\" arrangement. both batteries are plugged in and the current at \"A\" is measured. One of the batteries is then removed and replaced by a short circuit bar. The current is again measured at \"A\" . The first battery is returned to the circuit and the second battery is replaced by a shorting bar. The current at \"A\" is again P. The sum of the two partial currents is equal to the original total current.
