Anne Groggel’s research focus is law and society. Specifically, she employs quantitative and qualitative methods to examine how testimony, emotion management, courtroom interactions, and legal outcomes relate to gender, race, and social class.

She received her MA in sociology from Indiana University in 2015, her MA in the Social Sciences from the University of Chicago in 2010, and her BA in English from DePauw University in 2008.

Anne has taught Introduction to Sociology and SOC 316 The Family.
